*insert title here*

No idea why, but I just feel like blogging. Good news! I just achieved Chuunin rank in Naruto-Arena XD But its damn hard trying not to lose. Hmm, I'm currently chatting with Min, and Min's cousin, Mary. Hmm, parents and the rest of the crew are out watching the Chinese Acrobatics. I'm home alone. Hungry. Desperate. Lol, nah, I just feel tired. Hmm, lots of assignments due, projects to be done, and requests to be fulfilled, and last but not least, money to be made. Stress is definite, but I'm trying to cut down on stress. I asked my dad whether I can drop my Malay tuition which is on Sundays (ridiculous!) and he said no. Lol, I guess this is it for now. I'm just soooo....bored. Zzzz...

Onymou Taisenki Review

Eh, just another night, just another normal entry. Well, not really. I'm exhausted and before I go to bed I just feel like blogging. Hmm, an hour ago, I watched the final episode of Onmyou Taisenki, an anime that I've been walking with since last year. Nice, not bad, whatever you call it, I like it.

Storyline goes like this:

Main character is Tachibana Riku, actual name, Youmei, oh but he doesn't know that. He's from the past really, from a society of Toujinshis. (Think, Taoist Priests) They control Shikigamis. (Spirits of Nature, somewhat, different animals and all). There are 2 known factions back then, until one more emerged. Ten, Chi and Jin. (Heaven, Earth and God factions respectively) Well, our boy here is destined to be the next head of the Ten-Ryuu (Heaven Faction) Toujinshis. However, some bad stuff happened and his dad wanted him to do something bad, fight or something, when he was only 3. His mom intervened, sending him to the future where he would be safe. Or so she thought. He was raised by a Ten-Ryuu Toujinshi from the future, not knowing his real identity, because he was too young to remember anything at all. Chain of events happened, he made a 'contract' with a Shikigami named Kogenta, who is of the Byakko species (White Tiger). Kogenta started as an asshole, constantly referring to himself as 'ore-sama' (indicating that he's better than everyone else) but eventually grew to like Riku, and all that mushy stuff. Well, somehow, the ChiRyuus made it into the future as well, but the JinRyuus' existence were unknown until they were released by the JinRyuu 'master' Gasshin, a.k.a Masaomi, who pretends to be TenRyuu (actually a good guy, but you have to watch it yourself) and owns the Shikigami named Kibachiyo, of the Seiryuu species (Blue Dragon). Then theres the ChiRyuu 'real' Head, Asuka Ryuuma, who seems to be the rival of Riku, also commanding a Byakko, but named Rangetsu. There are a lot of characters, and each of them develop throughout the story. Its an interesting anime if you're interested in mystic stuff, or myths for that matter. They have decent opening and ending theme songs as well. Suitable for kids and adults alike, having lots of humorous scenes, cool fight scenes and touching scenes as well. People diss it for being similar to Digimon/Pokemon, but its nothing like that. Its original in its own special way, so yeah. Total number of episodes, 52. My overall rating would be : 8/10. Why 8? Because there are certain annoying things that I don't like, lol. Anyways, manga and anime hold totally different storylines, somehow. Try both if you can. Oh, the ending was excellent, despite it being sad and all that. :)

Anyways, I'm done here. Lol, I might blog at DA soon, since nobody has taken the initiative to do so. Hummm, anyways good night, and enjoy the review, although its not much. I'm dead exhausted from all my activities, so yeah...Zzz....n_n....Night night~

Just something to ponder upon...

Well, here's something for you guys to read. Its a quote, and sort of a story from my friend.

Just quite recently, my friend somehow got into an assault situation, where she was out studying with her friend, and walked home during the evening/night when suddenly a gang of bicycle riders came and circled around them. 6 girls and one guy, mind you. My friend, a girl, and her other friend, also a girl, being very ethical people, ignored them and walked on, despite the fact that these brats keep spitting, smoking and swearing at them, asking for a punch (Yes, they asked whether they would punch them) and all that, my friend was nearly at her doorstep when they pulled her hair, and she was on the verge on hitting them, but she held back, despite their swearing and all and walked on into her home. Now, she posted this in a forum, where me and other people work, telling us her experience and asking for our opinions and whatnot.

Here's what one of the admins said:

I have a story, told to me by a friend.

One day, when my friend was but a young child, he was playing with his toys, inside his house. His mother was on the phone in the next room. My friend, in his youthful ignorance, accidentially threw one of his toys at his mother. The toy was flung through the room, and bonked his dear mother right in the kisser.

His mother got up, walked over to him, and slapped him.

He looked at her in shock. She had never, never hit him.

...and she said "When someone hits you, you hit back."

She never had to hit him again.

-----

Don't ever believe someone who tells you not to fight back. I don't care if it's your mom, your dad, or whoever. They're filthy liars who've been brainwashed by a coddled society that relies on "some other guy" to take care of their problems, and fear of being socially ostracized.

If you're sitting down, having a discussion with someone, you fight. With words, yes, but you fight. You try to convince the other party that you are in the right. Never would a man with even a hint of self-respect allow someone else to simply expound their beliefs without rebuttal. This is verbal combat. The keener intellect wins. Only a sad and desperate person resorts to physical violence in a verbal dispute.

In physical combat, you usually can't talk your way out. It's physical, that's the whole point. You fight with your body, not your mind. You're not trying to prove a complicated philosophical point. If you're fighting in self-defense, you're telling the other party to back the fuck off before you mess their shit up. It's as simple as that. You don't win by being the nice guy. You don't win by ignoring them. If you take it like a little bitch, you become one.

So maybe you'll lose. They messed YOUR shit up. It happens.

At least you tried. At least you had the balls to stand up. At least you didn't get sucker punched on the back of the head like a little pansy.

You're weak? Start training. You can't fight? Read up. Learn how to throw a goddamn punch. Let every defeat become motivation to become stronger.

Have some GOD.DAMNED.BRAVERY.DAMNIT.

Am I big and buff? Am I a trained killer? Hell no. Will I let anyone mess my shit up without a fight? Not a fucking chance. I'll take the chance the other guy's not trying to kill me, and if I do get fucked up, at least I went out with guts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lol, excuse the swearing. But what he said actually made some sense, well, to a certain extent. Haha, I'm not saying that he's right all the way, but perhaps this is his insight. His way of seeing things, because he likes winning and all, and doesn't like being invaded or insulted. I feel that way too, sometimes. But most of the time, I try to shut up. Lol. Well, just wanted to post something, so here's something. Ponder upon it, and come up with your own opinion. =) I have my own, but its late night, so I won't be blogging something long. Night folks, enjoy the blog. XD No flaming activity in the tagboard please, I beg you. =) Have a nice day. Oh, btw, our business was succesful, we have around $250 and the business continues till the end of the year, in a much smaller scale, lol. Any queries, please ask, don't be shy. XD

Trials in Making Money

My tale. Lol, it all started this Saturday. It was bad, probably because there wasn't even anyone around to come see our work, or people didn't bring any money with them at all. (since its open day and all) We had some people making orders, and some people buying. Overall, we lost a lot of money. If only we had printed only High Quality pieces. But I don't blame anyone, because it gets better.

Well, our group made a name for ourselves, not just by fluke, but with the effort we put into our work. We put a lot of love, thought, sweat and blood into our works. We built a wall with our bare hands, scarred ourselves, bled, and sweat during the process. Honestly, you don't see that kind of teamwork all the time. We stuck together for a whole day (excluding a few, who came the day before, or went home early, lol) and finished building the wall. When I got back from tuition, (had to go >_>) they had already started spraying the wall. Teachers who we thought were bad helped us out, and teachers we thought were good turned their back on us and insulted us. Well, it drove us to keep on trying. Eventually, we were done. We appeared in yesterday's Borneo Bulletin. =)

Hmm, well, other than that, we were the only Art class students specially requested to participate along with the Science Students in Science Week. Talk about special privelages. =P We got to skip class, take turns and all that. Without my friends and their support, I'd be nowhere near that peak that I'm standing on right now. The work we do, even if we are making losses instead of profits, we are still enjoying it all the same.

Well, yesterday was the first day. We spent $150 on 3 ink cartridges, $40 on photo quality paper. Thats $190. Yesterday and today, we have already earned ourselves $100+. We are hoping to cover our losses and then split the money amongst ourselves. But hey, theres no business that starts without any losses.

Anyhow, we were requested to be there until Thursday. We sell our works for $3 per high quality piece, and $2 for regular quality pieces. If you request a custom made one, it'll be $5 or higher, depending on your request. This is considered very cheap because, outside in studios, they charge you $3 - $5 for service, and printing itself costs $5 - $10 (A4 sized). Yet, the people in our school who carry loads of cash, refuse to support us, saying that our work isn't original (that they've seen it somewhere else, and if I found out where, I'd kill the person for plagiarism) and claiming that we are OVERPRICING. God, if only they knew. We are already making it very cheap for students to afford. =
Anyways, that will be all for now, I will blog again when I can. And I'm wondering who that Anonymous person is. Got tuition later, lol. Really tiring, I'm taking a week off from drumming, so I can concentrate on the Art stuff. Hopefully my internet won't be down anymore. Take care everyone.
